With over 30 years of experience in audit — the majority with Big 4 firms — John brings exceptional technical depth and genuine commercial understanding to every engagement.

His career has been shaped by working closely with owner-managed businesses across the West Midlands and beyond, building expertise across a wide range of sectors and developing a deep understanding of the challenges privately-held companies face.

John founded JHHP because he believes that the best professional relationships are built on trust, continuity, and real support — not just a report delivered once a year. He wanted to create a practice where clients are genuinely known and cared for, combining the rigour of a large firm with the personal attention that only a specialist practice can offer.
